Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a look at the Exposed Rack Feet. These are going to be the small feet that help to hold up the load on your load bar to make sure that there's no dipping and it just helps to more evenly distribute the weight. So these are going to fit right into the bottom side of your load bar. These measure just an inch tall. So if we grab our handy-dandy tape measure, go from the very bottom. It's a little bit longer overall than an inch, but that's to allow for the threads to attach into the roof rack and give you actually enough bite to make it more stable. So going from the base here to the top of the threads it's about an inch. If we go from the bottom of the foam pad it's about an inch and a half, but really only want to use this if you have about an inch gap between the bottom of the bar and the top of your roof.
These do adjust to allow for any kind of contour for your roof line, so you can get them at the right angle to make sure that they make good contact. There's also a foam piece at the bottom to help protect that roof line from any kind of damages or any scuffs and abrasions. And it comes with two pieces of thick rubber. So you can use these to maybe act as a spacer or to help mark the spot. It does have a double-sided piece of tape here on the back, so you can peel off the backing and then stick that down in place. The threads are stainless steel, they are made in the USA, and that about does it for our look at the Load Distribution Feet for your exposed racks.
I hope this has been helpful. Thanks for watching.
